Happy Kitty, John Jay Steensma, linocut, 7" x 5"
Jay Steensma was born in Moscow and was raised in Washinton State. He attended an art school there. He died in 1994 at age 52. His paintings represnt things he saw in his life.
This picture can definitely make you happy just by looking at it.The color is simple but the little bit of red makes it happier. The main type of line used is curved. The texture is soft making the kitty soft too.
